Shah Alam, Malaysia - Tamalob FC managed to record their 4th win in a row by demolishing Hicom Die-casting FC by 6-2 in a friendly match yesterday.
Tamalob FC start with on loan goalkeeper from Perodua, Nasrul, due to metacarpal injury of their no1, Syahrul Nizam. 2 towering centre back, Radzi & Kamil at the heart of defence, while Firdaus & Faisal fill in RB & LB position respectively. The midfield duo Hafiez & Hafifi claim their usual spot, while Adnin & Fikri act as right and left wing. A surprise tactical decision was seen as Rezza took the role of centre forward with Rizwan played as supporting striker behind him.
They start the match strongly with an early goal when a decent lob from Hafiez found the back of the net. Thanks to Rezza who successfully made the opponent’s offside trap backfires them when him intentionally being in an offside position managed to confuse Hicom defenders which allow Rizwan to make a free run and later on disturb the opposition goalkeeper’s line of sight. Its a fluke goal, but they take it anyway. Then a through ball from Rezza set Rizwan free on right hand side, before he slotted in past the keeper.
In the 2nd half, the manager make a few changes; with Zariff coming on for Adnin, Faizi & Idzan for Firdaus & Faisal, Jabal & Ariff replacing Hafiez & Rizwan in midfield, while Radzi makes way for Faizal. The change surely have a positive impact as Tamalob look more composed and control. However, a mistake from Faizi in the early minutes of the second half saw the opponent manage to steal the ball before shooting it straight passing Nasrul into the corner of Tamalob’s goal.
They manage to bounce back with a beautiful-most-probably-goal-of-the-week-volley from Zariff, after a 1-2 pass with Hafifi. Then the scoreline becomes 4-1 when a counter attack sees Rezza manage to beat the defence before he made a cross to Hafifi for a simple finish to unguarded net. Fikri make it 5 as he blasted a wonderful left-footed strike from 30m which sees the ball went curving into Hicom’s net.
In the 3rd half, Zariff does what he does best, by scoring when one on one with the keeper. That’s make his tally to 14 goals in 11 game. The match look to be settled with 6-1 scoreline, but a mistake from the defence saw the opponent striker try to lob to the empty Tamalob’s goal, as Izzuddin decide to takes matter into his own hand by trying to block it. A penalty n a yellow card was awarded, and Hicom manage to scored the consolation goal. Fulltime, Tamalob FC 6 - Hicom Die-casting 2.
